Frequently Asked Questions
- Field guide FAQs
Where should we start our security journey?
Answer: Every organisation's needs differ, but three common starting points work well
- Start with Discovery if you're unsure of your certificate landscape. It reveals hidden vulnerabilities and assists as input into a roadmap.
- Start with PKI if you're building new security infrastructure. It creates the foundation all other solutions leverage.
- Start with your pain point if you have urgent needs—whether certificate outages, insider threats, or fraud prevention.

How long does implementation typically take?
Answer: Implementation timelines vary by solution
- Digital identity: 6-9 months pilot; 12-24 months national scale
- Managed PAM: 2-4 weeks pilot; 6-12 weeks full deployment
- Advanced eSignatures: 2-4 weeks planning and deployment; immediate use
Most organisations see meaningful value within the first quarter, with full ROI typically achieved in 12-18 months.
*Stats and timeframes are estimates and differ based on needs and scenarios.
What about the March 15, 2029 certificate deadline?
Answer: The 47-day certificate lifecycle deadline is real and approaching in phases
- March 15, 2026 (18 months away): Certificates reduced to 200 days
- March 15, 2027: Further reduction to 100 days
- March 15, 2029: Final reduction to 47 days
The CA/Browser Forum approved this timeline in April 2025, following Apple's proposal in October 2024. It's confirmed policy, not speculation.
Organisations managing certificates manually will find this impossible at scale. Certificate Lifecycle Management (CLM) automates discovery, renewal, and monitoring—preparing you for 2029.
The earlier you implement CLM, the smoother your transition will be.
Are these solutions cloud-ready?
Answer: Absolutely. All solutions support hybrid environments
- Yes most environment are supported where certificates are deployed. This would include both external and internal systems.
Our Certificate Discovery scans across all environments. PKI issues certificates for any platform. Digital identity works offline and online. Managed PAM monitors privileged access everywhere. Advanced eSignatures work on any device.
You get comprehensive security regardless of where your infrastructure lives.
